We offer same/next day delivery on all skips if you do not require a permit and our experienced drivers will be able to help and advise on the best location if required.
1. WILL YOU NEED A COUNCIL PERMIT FOR YOUR SKIP?
If you don’t have a driveway, garden or other private land at your home to place the skip on to you will need to apply for a council permit to have the skip placed on the roadside. The council charge for these permits and we are able to apply for your permit on your behalf. It normally takes between 24 and 48 hours to receive the permit so please allow for this time when placing an order.
If you do have a private driveway or other area to place your skip it will need to have approximately 8 foot (2.4m) clearance for our lorry to be able to get in and drop the skip off.
2. ENSURE YOU PICK THE RIGHT SIZE SKIP

3. KNOW WHAT CAN YOU PUT IN YOUR SKIP
There are legal restrictions about what can be put into a skip and as we aim to recycle as much of the contents of your skip as possible there are things we can and can’t take. Below is a list of what you can and can’t put into your skip. If you are unsure about something then please feel free to give us a call on 01268 833 329 or drop us an email at info@clearaway-benfleet.co.uk and we will be able to advise you. If you do have things that are not acceptable please get in touch with us as we may be able to help supply another solution. If we can’t then your local council may have recycling centres which may be able to take some items like old fridges etc.
